Cruisin' Ocean City 2008
May 15-18, 2008 / Ocean City, MD
Cruisin Ocean City has become one of the biggest celebrations of America’s love affair with automobiles. The 18th Annual Cruisin Ocean City event continued the tradition, hosting more than 3,000 hot rods, customs, street machines, muscle cars, and more, including over 20 different car shows and Boardwalk Parades, and lots of entertainment.
Appearances included BIG DADDY Don Garlits and Eddie Mekka, aka "The Big Ragu" from the hit TV Comedy Laverne & Shirley. Other highlights included a STILL SURFIN tribute to the Beach Boys, Custom Cars book signing by Chuck Vranas, Toys for Big Boys showcase, and lots of DJ's, vendors and more!
This years manufacturers midway featured many top national names, including Miller Electric, Meguiar's, Goodyear, GM Performance, Flowmaster, Roush Performance, Billet Specialties, and more. And for the first year, Cruisin held its own live collector car auction, conducted by Express Auctioneers. Here's to looking forward to 2009!
